5 Unique Bridal Bouquet Ideas

No rule says all weddings must look the same. If you want to tailor-fit your ceremony to your personality, you can. One of the easiest ways to let your individuality shine through is with your bouquet.

1. Succulents

Whether you’re a plant lover or are proud of your southwestern roots, share the spotlight with succulents. Not only are they less delicate and keep fresh longer than traditional flower arrangements, but if you choose to incorporate air plants, you will have a living memento of your special day.

2. Feathers

If you want to give your bouquet an exotic flair, artfully place wholesale peacock feathers or turkey feathers in the arrangement. Some brides have chosen to leave out flowers entirely and instead carry down the aisle arrangements made entirely out of feathers. If you enjoy the style of Vaudeville, an ostrich feather fan may be appropriate.

3. Single

Sometimes less is more. Not only would going the minimal route make your ceremony unique, but it would also save you a ton of money on wedding expenses. A high-quality bridal bouquet can cost hundreds of dollars, but a single rose can cost as little as $5.

4. Branches

If you’re having a spring wedding, blossoming fruit branches could be a boho-chic addition to your ceremony. In later seasons, having a “fruitful” bouquet utilizing berry, kumquat or olive branches may add a fun burst of color. Olives may be especially poignant as they traditionally symbolize peace.

5. Silk

Like feathers and some varieties of succulents, choosing this option gives you a keepsake that you can enjoy for decades to come. Just because the flowers are fake, it doesn’t have to mean they’re ugly or boring. Silk arrangements can be dressed up with beading and nick-knacks, creating not only a bouquet but a piece of art.

Weddings can be super stressful, especially if you are trying to live up to the expectations of your family. Just remember it is your special day and to make choices that bring you happiness.
